Veronika Ilinskaya

Russian-born Veronika Ilinskaya is a pianist of the very highest calibre. Originally from Moscow, she graduated with honours from the Guildhall School of Music in London and subsequently from the Mannes School in New York.

She gives regular performances around Europe and has recently collaborated with Benjamin Ellin – one of the UK’s leading young composers – who was commissioned by the New York Symphony Orchestra and South Bank Centre to present a set of piano preludes written especially for her.

With the help of the Zetland Foundation, Veronika has released her first CD to great acclaim. Produced by Landor Records, it includes works by Prokofiev and Medtner and features a fabulous performance of the Scriabin Piano Concerto with the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra.
