The Zetland Foundation offers support to a limited number of highly gifted young classical musicians who are attempting to establish themselves in a hugely competitive industry. So often raw talent is lost because individuals are unable to sustain themselves during the early part of their careers. We think this is a terrible waste, so we try to help them by providing financial or practical support and guidance during this crucial period of their lives.

Inevitably, demand for funds outstrips supply by a wide margin and so the Foundation welcomes outside support.

All administrative costs are absorbed by the Foundation, which means that any income received is directed exclusively towards the needs of the young people.

There are several ways in which individuals or organisations can support our work.

Making a donation

Any donation, large or small, is extremely welcome. To make a financial contribution, please complete the donation form and send to:

Leaving a legacy

If you would like to help these young people reach their artistic potential beyond your lifetime, then please consider leaving a bequest in your will. For further information on leaving a gift to a charity, please visit: www.hmrc.gov.uk/individuals/giving/will.htm or consult your solicitor.

Sponsoring an event

There is nothing quite like the experience of performing in front of a live audience, so arranging events to help our young people to gain experience on the concert circuit is an important part of our work. To this end, we welcome any form of event sponsorship or artistic collaboration from individuals, organisations or other charities. Please contact us to discuss the possibilities.
